Hi, I'm Mandy, a dreamer and designer.

Currently, I'm study Computing & the Arts at Yale with Cognitive Science, where I blend product design, visual systems, and just enough code to bring ideas to life.

I’m happiest when I’m building things that feel clear, thoughtful, and a little bit delightful. I love the full process: talking to people, sketching messy early concepts, shaping a visual direction, and prototyping until it actually works.

At Yale, I re-founded Design for America at Yale, a design studio and community after noticing a gap in product design education. Since then, I’ve hosted students from 8+ colleges and 70+ designers through our events.

My side quest is to open my own cat café one day. 🐈☕️

I’m a first-generation Fuzhounese American based between New York and Connecticut. I grew up editing profile pics for people, and nothing beat the feeling of seeing someone actually use what I made. Now, with a technical background, I’m focused on building products people genuinely love.

At Yale, I re-founded Design for America at Yale, a design studio and community. These days, I’m building spaces where creatives can learn by doing, collaborate, and ship work together.

I'm a big fan of museums and art, especially impressionism and romanticism. I love to create: whether that's coding a mini puzzle or sketching landscapes I see!

You can also catch me trying out new cafes or dancing freestyle and kpop on campus. Current obsessions: berry-flavored lattes, Pokémon games, and Disney movies.
